Did Wheeler really suggest that he and Woolsey split for a solo movie each? I always thought it was the studio's idea.
One of the articles mentions "Harry Landon" as Wheeler's replacement. I assume that's a typo for Harry Langdon. Between this and being Stan Laurel's replacement, it seems Harry was Hollywood's chief pinch-hitter.
